Adorable Cat Embarks on Puzzling Platforming Adventure with Culinary Twist

A charming new puzzle platformer, Cato: Buttered Cat, is launching on Android! The game's quirky name—a blend of "cat" and "toast"—perfectly reflects its whimsical premise: a cat perpetually spinning in mid-air thanks to a piece of buttered toast strapped to its back.

Originally a 2022 BOOOM Gamejam entry by Team Woll, Cato: Buttered Cat's positive reception led to its development into a full game. Currently available on Steam for PC, the Android version is on its way. While the Google Play Store listing isn't live yet, you can pre-register on the official TapTap page.

Gameplay:

Control both a cat and a piece of buttered toast to solve puzzles, battle enemies, and explore five fantastical worlds. With 200 levels (including side quests) and 30 unique outfits, there's plenty to discover. The gameplay cleverly utilizes the contrasting abilities of the cat (climbing, running) and the toast (projectile movement), requiring players to utilize both for successful navigation. The game also features hidden areas and Easter eggs to uncover.
