Tencent, le géant chinois de la technologie, a considérablement augmenté son investissement dans Kuro Games, le développeur des titres populaires Wuthering Waves et Puninging: Grey Raven . Cette décision accorde à Tencent la propriété majoritaire.

L'acquisition d'actions de Tencent augmente sa participation à environ 51,4%, ce qui en fait l'actionnaire contrôlant. Cela fait suite à un investissement précédent en 2023 et au départ d'autres actionnaires. Tencent est maintenant le seul seul investisseur externe de Kuro Games.

Maintenir l'indépendance

Malgré l'investissement important, Kuro Games assure une indépendance opérationnelle continue. Cela reflète l'approche de Tencent avec d'autres studios à succès comme Riot Games (League of Legends, Valorant) et Supercell (Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars). Les jeux Kuro indiquent que ce changement favorisera un environnement plus stable et soutiendra sa stratégie indépendante à long terme. Tencent n'a pas encore commenté publiquement l'acquisition.
