Stellar Blade Dev Shift Up Posts Année d'enregistrement, les ventes de la version PC devraient toujours dépasser PS5

Shift Up, le développeur derrière Stellar Blade, a annoncé une année record, avec une lame stellaire générant 43 millions de dollars de redevances. La version PC devrait dépasser les chiffres des ventes de PlayStation 5.

Game World Observer a indiqué que le rapport financier en 2024 de Shift Up a montré une augmentation des revenus de 30,4% sur l'autre, atteignant 151,4 millions de dollars. Une partie importante, 43,2 millions de dollars, provenait directement des redevances de lame stellaire.

La société prévoit un succès continu, s'attendant à ce que les ventes de PC surpassent les ventes de consoles, en particulier sur le marché des jeux asiatiques. Shift Up a également l'intention de dévoiler son nouveau titre, Project Witches, dans la première moitié de 2025. Cependant, ce n'est pas la suite de lame stellaire prévue, bien qu'une suite soit à l'étude.

Project Witches a été initialement annoncé en 2024, peu de temps après le lancement de la PS5 de Stellar Blade, préemptant une demande significative pour un suivi direct.

Stellar Blade, un RPG d'action en évolution rapide, met les joueurs dans le rôle d'Eve alors qu'elle se bat pour récupérer la Terre de mystérieux envahisseurs. Tout en obtenant une note 7/10 dans la revue d'IGN et en vendant plus d'un million d'exemplaires, la réception du jeu a été mitigée, les critiques axées sur les personnages sous-développés, un récit faible et la mécanique RPG frustrante entravant son potentiel. Notre revue a noté ses éléments d'action solides, mais a critiqué ses personnages sans inspiration, son scénario médiocre et ses mécanismes de RPG problématiques.
