Die Gaming-Community hat ihre Wut ausgelöst, da die Fans von God of War Ragnarok Berichten zufolge das Spiel auf Steam bewertet haben, um auf die umstrittene Anforderung von Sony nach einem PlayStation Network (PSN) -Konto (PSN) zu reagieren, um auf dem PC zu spielen. Nach seiner jüngsten Einführung bei Steam hat God of War Ragnarok eine "gemischte" Benutzerbewertung erzielt, die derzeit bei einer 6/10 -Bewertung sitzt. Der Gegenreaktion beruht auf der Entscheidung von Sony, ein PSN-Konto für diesen Einzelspieler-Action-Adventure-Titel zu beauftragen, so viele Fans frustriert zu machen und die negativen Bewertungen zu veranlassen.

Trotz des Aufruhrs haben einige Spieler berichtet, dass sie das Spiel spielen konnten, ohne ein PSN -Konto zu verknüpfen. Ein Benutzer erklärte: "Ich verstehe, warum die Leute über das PlayStation-Account-Zeug verärgert sind. Es ist scheiße, wenn Entwickler-Online-Funktionen zu einem Einzelspielerspiel sind. Aber ich verstehe nicht einmal, weil ich gut spielen könnte, ohne mich anzumelden. Es ist scheiße, weil diese Bewertungen die Leute von einem unglaublichen Spiel abweisen werden."

Ein anderer Spieler drückte frustriert über das Starterlebnis des Spiels und schrieb: "Die PSN -Kontoanforderung tötet die Aufregung, hat das Spiel gestartet und sogar angemeldet, aber es bleibt auf dem schwarzen Bildschirm steckt, hat das Spiel nicht gespielt, aber es zeigt, dass ich es 1 Stunde 40 Minuten gespielt habe, wie lächerlich das sein kann."

Inmitten des negativen Feedbacks gibt es jedoch Spieler, die positive Bewertungen hinterlassen haben und das Spiel selbst schätzten und gleichzeitig anerkennen, dass die Gegenreaktion hauptsächlich auf die PSN -Richtlinie von Sony zurückzuführen ist. In einer solchen Rezension heißt es: "Gute Geschichte wie erwartet. Die Spieler geben negative Bewertungen hauptsächlich für PSN. Sony muss sich jetzt genau in diese Angelegenheit befassen. Andernfalls ist das Spiel erstklassig auf dem PC zu spielen."

Sony traf Anfang dieses Jahres auf ein ähnliches Problem mit Helldivers 2, bei dem ursprünglich ein PSN -Konto spielen musste. Aufgrund der weit verbreiteten Gegenreaktion kehrte Sony seine Entscheidung um und beseitigte das PSN -Konto, das die Anforderungen an Helldivers in Verbindung bringt. Diese Geschichte legt nahe, dass Sony möglicherweise seinen Ansatz zur Integration von PSN -Konto in ihren PC -Titeln überdenken muss.
