Netflix hat sich offiziell mit den Schöpfer des gefeierten Videospiels Sifu zusammengetan, um seine intensive Erzählung auf die große Leinwand zu bringen. Die ersten im Jahr 2022 angekündigten Filmadaption wurde von Story Kitchen in Zusammenarbeit mit Sloclap, dem Entwickler des Spiels, entwickelt. Der Streaming -Riese hat TS Nowlin, bekannt für seine Arbeiten am Maze Runner -Franchise und das Netflix -Projekt Adam, eingetragen, um das Drehbuch zu erstellen. Während Derek Kolstad, der zuvor an der Anpassung von Sifus Geschichte beteiligt war, möglicherweise immer noch Teil des Projekts sein kann, bleibt seine derzeitige Rolle ungewiss.
