Rambo -Fans, machen Sie sich bereit für eine aufregende Reise in der Vergangenheit! Ein Prequel -Projekt mit dem Titel "John Rambo" befindet sich derzeit in der Entwicklung, das vom Direktor von "Sisu" und "Big Game", Jalmari Helander, geleitet wird. Während Details über die Handlung von "John Rambo" unter Verschluss bleiben, wird bestätigt, dass sich die Geschichte während des Vietnamkrieges entfalten wird und als Vorläufer des legendären Films "First Blood" von 1982 dient. Ab sofort wurden keine Casting -Entscheidungen abgeschlossen, obwohl der ursprüngliche Rambo -Star Sylvester Stallone des Projekts kennt, aber derzeit nicht beteiligt ist.

Das Drehbuch für "John Rambo" wurde von Rory Haines und Sohrab Noshirvani, den talentierten Schriftstellern hinter "The Mauretanian" und "Black Adam", hergestellt. Die Produktion wird im Oktober in Thailand beginnen und verspricht ein actionreiches Abenteuer, das in den grobkörnigen Realitäten der Kriegszeit verwurzelt ist.

Obwohl das Konzept eines Rambo-Prequels die Fans überraschen könnte, zeigt Helanders jüngster Erfolg mit dem Actionfilm "Sisu" 2023 WWII "SISU" seine Fähigkeit, mit hoher Oktanerzählungen umzugehen.
