Nach einer Reihe von Nintendo Switch 2 Lecks aus der CES 2025 hat Nintendo eine offizielle Erklärung abgegeben. Das Unternehmen bestätigte, dass die Bilder nicht offizielle Nintendo -Materialien sind. Dies markiert eine seltene Instanz von Nintendo, die sich öffentlich mit Produktlecks befasst. Die Erklärung betont Nintendos Nicht-Teilnahme in CES 2025, wobei alle Switch 2-Bilder aus dem Ereignis inoffiziell sind.

Der Switch 2 ist seit Ende 2024 Gegenstand zahlreicher Lecks, ein Zeitraum, der mit dem gemeldeten Eintritt in die Massenproduktion zusammenfällt. Ein herausragendes Leck war der Zubehörhersteller Genki, der einen angeblichen Switch 2 -Replikat bei CES zeigte. Bilder dieser Nachbildung verbreiten sich schnell über soziale Medien.

Während Nintendos Aussage an die Sankei Shimbun die Bilder "nicht offiziell" erklärte, verzichtete sie darauf, die Genauigkeit der Replik zu kommentieren. Die Replik stimmt jedoch auf frühere Lecks und Gerüchte aus, was auf eine potenzielle Gültigkeit hinweist. Der bemerkenswerteste Unterschied zum ursprünglichen Schalter ist die Einbeziehung einer zusätzlichen Taste mit "C", die unterhalb der Home-Con-Taste der richtigen Joy-Con positioniert ist. Seine Funktion bleibt unbekannt.

Genki -CEO Eddie Tsai, obwohl es nicht in der Lage ist, die Schaltfläche "C" zu beleuchten, gab zusätzliche Details. Er schlug vor, dass der Switch 2 Joy-Cons magnetische Bindung anstelle von Gleitschienen verwendet und möglicherweise als Mauscontroller fungiert-Anklageerhebung durch andere Quellen.
