Das zweite Abendessen, das in Kalifornien ansässige Studio hinter dem beliebten Spiel Marvel Snap, stand vor einem unerwarteten Rückschlag, als das Spiel neben anderen Bytedance-Apps wie Capcut und Lemon8 verboten wurde. Diese plötzliche Entscheidung führte zum Absetzen der Verfügbarkeit von Marvel Snap auf iOS- und Android -Plattformen zum 18. Januar 2025. Die abrupte Natur dieses Verbots ließ viele Spieler frustriert, insbesondere weil es keine vorherige Warnung gab. Infolgedessen gaben viele weiterhin Geld für Einkäufe im Spiel aus, ohne sich der bevorstehenden Aussperrung zu bewusst.

Trotz des Verbots können PC -Benutzer weiterhin auf Marvel Snap durch Steam zugreifen und einen Hoffnungserscheinungsschimmer für Fans bieten. Als Reaktion auf die Situation drückten die Entwickler des zweiten Abendessens ihren Schock aus und arbeiten aktiv daran, die Verfügbarkeit des Spiels wiederherzustellen. Eine Aussage von Plattform X versicherte den Spielern, dass sie sich verpflichtet haben, Marvel Snap wieder online zu bringen, und besagt:

"Marvel Snap ist hier, um zu bleiben. Wir arbeiten hart daran, das Spiel so schnell wie möglich wiederherzustellen, und wir werden die Spieler über unsere Fortschritte auf dem Laufenden halten."

Während Marvel Snap mit diesem Rückschlag gegenüberstand, waren nicht alle Bytedance -Apps betroffen. Zum Beispiel sind Spiele wie Ragnarok X: 3. Jubiläum und Erde: Wiederbelebung - Tief unterirdisch bleiben spielbar und heben die selektive Natur des Verbots hervor.
