Sonic Rumble Embarks on Pre-Launch in Global Regions

Remember Sonic Rumble? This upcoming Sonic game ditches the high-speed chases for a Fall Guys-style chaotic party featuring Sonic and friends. Following a May CBT, Sonic Rumble is now entering a phased pre-launch rollout.

Sonic Rumble's Phased Pre-Launch

SEGA has initiated Phase 1 of the pre-launch, releasing Sonic Rumble in the Philippines on Android and iOS. This initial phase will continue throughout the summer, after which all gameplay data will be reset. Phase 2, slated for autumn, will expand the pre-launch to Peru and Colombia. Further regions will be added in Phase 3, with specifics yet to be announced. Global pre-registration is planned for later this year or early next. This rapid rollout likely reflects the recent success of Fall Guys.

Gameplay Details

Sonic Rumble features mini-games packed with zany obstacles and challenges, playable solo or with friends. However, unlike the straightforward races of Fall Guys, Sonic Rumble incorporates classic Sonic villains like Dr. Eggman, adding a unique twist to the party-style gameplay. Expect plenty of obstacle dodging and villain encounters!
