KLab Inc. has revealed an update on their upcoming JoJo's Bizarre Adventure mobile game. Initially announced in early 2020 and slated for global distribution (excluding Japan), development hit a snag due to issues with their original partner. However, KLab has partnered with Wanda Cinemas Games in Beijing to revive the project.

The game, now targeting a worldwide release (excluding Japan) in 2026, has overcome significant hurdles. Wanda Cinemas Games boasts a strong portfolio of successful mobile titles, including Hoolai Three Kingdoms Mobile Game, Calabash Brothers, Fortress Mobile Game, Saint Seiya: Legend of Justice, Tensura: King of Monsters, and The Legend of Qin.

Visit the official game website for details. For those unfamiliar with the source material, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a long-running manga series by Hirohiko Araki, first serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1987. The series, adapted into anime and films, features a blend of surrealism, supernatural elements, and thrilling battles against diverse antagonists, from ancient vampires to interdimensional threats.

This isn't JoJo's first foray into the gaming world; a Super Famicom RPG debuted in 1993, followed by numerous titles including JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Shooters (2014), JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Records (2017), and JoJo's Pitter Patter Pop! (2018) on Android.
