Imperial Miners

Portal Games Digital has released a digital adaptation of their popular board game, Imperial Miners, for Android devices. This card game centers around strategic mine construction and expansion. The Android release follows other successful card game ports by Portal Games Digital, including Neuroshima Convoy, Imperial Settlers: Roll & Write, and Tides of Time.

Imperial Miners, designed by Tim Armstrong (known for Arcana Rising and Orbis), features artwork by Hanna Kuik (whose credits include Batman: Everybody Lies and Dune: House Secrets).

Gameplay Overview:

Players manage an underground mining operation, striving to build the most efficient mine by strategically playing cards. Gameplay involves digging deeper, collecting Crystals and Carts to earn Victory Points, and utilizing a unique card-activation system where each card's effect triggers those above it. Six distinct factions offer diverse strategic combinations. The game unfolds over ten rounds, each introducing a new Event that can significantly impact a player's plans. Progress boards, three of which are randomly selected each game, introduce further strategic depth and replayability.
