Neutronized, the studio behind hits like Shovel Pirate, Slime Labs 3, Super Cat Tales, and Yokai Dungeon: Monster Games, has released a new platformer: Shadow Trick. This free-to-play title retains Neutronized's signature blend of short, fun, and charming gameplay, enhanced by a retro 16-bit aesthetic.

Shadow Trick Gameplay:

Players control a wizard capable of transforming into a shadow, a core mechanic used to solve puzzles and navigate the game's 24 levels. Shifting between physical and shadow forms allows players to bypass obstacles, evade enemies, and uncover hidden secrets within a magical castle.

Each level contains three moon crystals; collecting all 72 crystals requires defeating bosses without taking damage. The game features diverse environments, from standard castle levels to aquatic areas where shadow form is crucial for survival, and introduces unique boss encounters, such as a tricky red ghost that can reappear after seemingly disappearing.
