2K Games и 31st Union запускают Project ETHOS, бесплатный геройский шутер в стиле рогалик, на начальном этапе игрового тестирования! В этой статье подробно рассказывается об игре и о том, как принять в ней участие.

Проект ETHOS, новый взгляд на жанр героев-шутеров, сочетает в себе рогалик с динамичными боями от третьего лица с участием героев. Что его отличает? Динамическая система «Эволюции». В каждом матче представлены рандомизированные эволюции, которые кардинально меняют способности героев, заставляя игроков оперативно адаптировать стратегии. Превратите своего снайпера в бойца ближнего боя или свою поддержку в одиночную мощь — возможности безграничны.

Представлены два основных режима игры:

  • Испытания: фирменный режим 2K. Команды из трех человек сражаются с людьми и искусственными противниками, собирая ядра, чтобы разблокировать улучшения (улучшения). Смерть означает потерю накопленных Ядер. Матчи можно присоединять в середине игры, предлагая различные уровни сложности. Игроки зарабатывают очки опыта (XP) различными способами: собирая осколки опыта, уничтожая врагов и выполняя события на карте.

  • Gauntlet: Классический режим соревновательного турнира. Игроки сражаются через скобки, улучшая своего героя с каждой победой. Исключение приводит к удалению до следующего раунда.

Плейтест, который пройдет с 17 по 21 октября, в настоящее время доступен только игрокам из США, Канады, Мексики, Великобритании, Ирландии, Франции, Германии, Испании и Италии.
