30 января 2025 года FromSoftware объявила через Twitter/X, что подтверждающие письма были отправлены участникам, выбранным для сетевого теста Elden Ring Nightreign. Взволнованные фанаты делятся своими подтверждениями в сети, благодаря разработчиков за возможность.

Подтверждённые участники получат второе письмо 11 февраля с кодами для загрузки, соответствующими их платформе. Сетевой тест будет доступен исключительно на PlayStation 5 и Xbox Series X|S.

Регистрация проходила с 10 по 20 января 2025 года. К сожалению, те, кто не был выбран, не получили никакой информации о возможных будущих тестовых мероприятиях.

FromSoftware описывает это как предварительную техническую оценку, где участники получат доступ к ограниченному контенту перед релизом. Основная цель — стресс-тестирование онлайн-инфраструктуры при имитации высокой нагрузки.

Тест продлится с 14 по 16 февраля 2025 года и будет разделён на пять трёхчасовых сессий:

  • Сессия 1 – 14 февраля: 3:00–6:00 (PT)
  • Сессия 2 – 14 февраля: 19:00–22:00 (PT)
  • Сессия 3 – 15 февраля: 11:00–14:00 (PT)
  • Сессия 4 – 16 февраля: 3:00–6:00 (PT)
  • Сессия 5 – 16 февраля: 19:00–22:00 (PT)

Появление мошеннической активности

Появились предупреждения о безопасности, касающиеся поддельных приглашений в Steam, якобы предлагающих доступ к тесту Nightreign. Эти вредоносные ссылки, как сообщается, компрометируют аккаунты и автоматически распространяются через списки друзей. Обратите внимание, что FromSoftware обрабатывает регистрацию только через официальные каналы.

Одновременно спекулянты начали продавать якобы «подтверждённые коды» в интернете, хотя настоящие коды станут доступны только 11 февраля. В текущих объявлениях указаны абсурдные цены вплоть до $200, а некоторые пытаются продавать их через аукционы.
