Hoyoverse представила интересные подробности о предстоящем обновлении Honkai: Star Rail версии 2.6 под названием «Annals of Pinecany's Mappou Age», установленное 23 октября. Игроки отправятся в Penacony и исследуют оживленный университет Paperfold, который готовится к новому семестру и празднованию годовщины. Университет оживает студенческую жизнь, в которых участвуют клубные наборы, музыкальные представления и различные академические мероприятия.

Основным моментом этого обновления является введение Rappa, нового 5-звездочного персонажа и Galaxy Ranger, который дубирует себя ниндзя.
