Ubisoft объявила, что «Assassin's Creed: Shadows» снова переносится, а новая дата релиза назначена на 20 марта 2025 года. В пресс-релизе Ubisoft также сообщила, что они назначили «ведущих консультантов для рассмотрения и реализации различных преобразующих стратегических и капитальных вариантов, чтобы максимизировать создание ценности для заинтересованных сторон» с целью реструктуризации компании. Чтобы обеспечить первоклассный опыт игроков, повысить операционную эффективность и максимизировать создание стоимости». В прошлом году игровой список Ubisoft на 2024 год разочаровал — Star Wars: Outlaws была хуже на момент запуска, а XDefiant, многопользовательский онлайн-шутер, был прекращен всего через семь месяцев после его выпуска в мае.
