Peak Hunters boasts a growing database of peaks across the Czech Republic and neighboring countries. Use your phone's GPS to log ascents, earn points based on altitude and difficulty, and add your own ratings and photos. The app clearly displays peaks on the map, allowing filtering by country, mountain range, or distance. Download offline map data for reliable navigation, even in areas with weak signal. Maps utilize OpenStreetMaps and include hiking trails. Discover and add missing peaks: long-press a peak on the map to submit it for database inclusion; upon approval, you'll earn bonus points. Enjoy expanding statistics, collectible badges (with congratulations for rare achievements), and 48-hour weather forecasts for each peak. A unique feature allows summit identification by simply pointing your phone at the peak (with the correct distance filter). Anonymous mode is available, but note that profiles cannot be transferred, logged out, or restored in this mode. We recommend trying anonymous mode and then creating a registered profile. The app is completely free of ads and in-app purchases, born from a hiker's need for a peak-bagging app with offline maps. Now includes manual dark/light mode switching in user profile settings. Report bugs or feedback directly through the in-app form. No website is needed; the app is fully self-contained.
