Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 'Bury Your Tears' Launches Soon

HoYoverse has officially announced the release date for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7, titled 'Bury Your Tears with the Past,' set to launch on April 23rd. This update marks the culmination of Season 1, promising a thrilling conclusion to the ongoing narrative.

What’s in Store in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?

Version 1.7 will unravel the long-awaited mystery surrounding the Sacrifice crisis. Players, or Proxies, will delve deep into Vivian's intricate backstory, while the fate of Hugo, after his dramatic fall into the Hollow, will be clarified beyond mere speculation and rumors.

The tension between Mockingbird and TOPS escalates following Hugo's incident, prompting the Mayor to dispatch a special Void Hunter-rank investigator to manage the situation. Alongside Vivian, Proxies will venture into hostile territory to locate the Sacrifice Core. This mission intertwines with Vivian's unresolved past and the unraveling of the Exaltists' conspiracy.

Here’s the Character Lineup

Two new S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird will join the fray. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, wields a parasol and rapier, delivering substantial Corruption damage when synergized with other characters' EX Special Attacks. Hugo, an Ice Attack Agent, wields a suitcase that transforms into a scythe, capable of triggering a Totalize effect that amplifies damage against stunned enemies based on the remaining stun duration.

Robin, Mockingbird’s agile Bangboo partner, adds to the mix with cards that introduce random effects. Additionally, Physical Anomaly Agent Jane and Fire Stun Agent Lighter will have their banners rerun in Version 1.7.

Version 1.7 introduces new events, including 'Say It With Flowers,' where players can manage a flower shop, fulfilling design requests and crafting floral arrangements. Completing commissions in this event unlocks a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode and exclusive rewards.
