"Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms" Walkthrough

This exploration quest is action-packed. Begin at the base of the ruins south of Shores of Last Breath, activating the broken Lumiscale Construct on the ground. The quest objectives are:

1. Energize three steles at designated locations.
2. Return and defeat the Lumiscale Construct.
3. Pursue the Lumiscale Construct.
4. Defeat the Lumiscale Construct (again).
5. Defeat the Dragon of Dirge.

Energizing the Steles

Stand on the glowing circle at the center of each altar to charge the Discipline Steles. Enemies interrupting this process will hinder your progress; eliminate them swiftly. Moving too far from the altar will cause its energy to deplete.

Leverage the enhanced elemental damage and status effects introduced in the 2.0 update to gain a combat advantage.

For the third stele set, swiftly position them before enemy spawns. If you're having trouble interacting with the broken steles, adjust your character and camera angle until the interaction prompt appears.

Chasing and Defeating the Lumiscale Construct

Return to the starting point using your Wingray and unleash your team's most powerful Resonators upon the Lumiscale Construct. A cutscene will initiate upon significantly reducing its health, prompting you to follow it deeper into the ruins.

The environment becomes increasingly hazardous during the chase; be wary of falling debris and lightning strikes, eliminating all enemies along the way. A final confrontation with the Lumiscale Construct awaits, providing the opportunity for a decisive victory.

Confronting the Dragon of Dirge

The Dragon of Dirge is a formidable opponent capable of stunlocking or even one-shotting your characters. Evade its breath attacks and falling star assaults, aiming for stuns as soon as possible. The optimal strategy involves waiting for its powerful attacks to conclude before attempting to stun it.

Victory over the dragon completes the quest, unlocking access to the remaining areas of Shores of Last Breath, including Dream Patrols and Nightmare Tempest Mephis in the arena at the peninsula's northernmost point.
