Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2's release has been pushed back to October 2025. The official announcement came via the game's Twitter (X) account on March 26, accompanied by a video update.

In the video, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann shared insights on the game's current development status. He stated, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."

Paradox has been keeping the community informed through Dev Diaries, which detail characters, stories, and mechanics. However, to focus on enhancing the game, all Dev Diaries have been paused as of this writing.

First Revealed in 2019

Bloodlines 2 was initially unveiled in March 2019, with an anticipated release in March 2020. Developed by Hardsuit Labs at the time, the game faced its first delay to an unspecified date in 2020, which was later extended to 2021.

During this period, the project saw several key personnel departures. In February 2021, Paradox Interactive announced that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be involved, and development would be handed over to The Chinese Room. The game's release was then rescheduled for late 2024, subsequently shifted to the first half of 2025, and now finally to late 2025.
