However, as you progress, the difficulty ramps up to Level II, necessitating Fine, or Tier II, gear to keep up. Here's how you can acquire and upgrade to Tier II/Fine weapons and armor in *Avowed*.

How to Upgrade Weapons and Armor from Common (I) to Fine (II) in Avowed

In *Avowed*, gear effectiveness is tracked by Quality, indicated by a descriptor, color, and Roman numeral. Common gear, marked with a green color and the numeral I, can be upgraded to Fine, which is blue and marked with II. Between these levels, gear can be further enhanced from +1 to +3.

To upgrade from Common (I) to Fine (II), you'll need to visit a Party Camp. At each camp, there's a workbench where you can upgrade your gear. You must sequentially upgrade through +1, +2, and +3 levels, each requiring specific materials depending on the gear type.
