Sword of Justice Opens Pre-Registration for Upcoming Closed Beta

  • This fantasy martial arts MMO transports players to 12th-century China
  • The mobile edition features ray tracing as a key graphical feature

Craving some Wuxia action? NetEase’s upcoming fantasy martial arts MMORPG, Sword of Justice, has officially launched pre-registration for its closed beta. Players in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil can jump into the game starting September 26th to experience it firsthand.

For those unfamiliar with Sword of Justice, this Wuxia-inspired title is set against a backdrop modeled after China’s Northern Song Dynasty during the 12th century. Expect all your favorite martial arts tropes woven seamlessly into an authentic Chinese fantasy world.

Sword of Justice distinguishes itself not just through its setting but also via stunning visuals. While PC players will enjoy path tracing, mobile gamers won’t be left behind—ray tracing support is included for the mobile version as well!

Historically, Sword of Justice might have seemed like typical publisher hype from NetEase. However, following Marvel Rivals’ massive success, it’s reasonable to view NetEase’s recent projects with renewed optimism.

Sword of Justice will operate on a free-to-play model featuring strict stat caps and regular seasonal resets, ensuring that player skill matters more than spending habits. While we’ve heard similar promises before with mixed outcomes, the polish evident in Sword of Justice gives me cautious hope for its success.

And yes, I do love some good old-fashioned kung fu action.
