*Sonic Rumble* marks the first foray into multiplayer party gaming for the Sonic series. It invites up to 32 players to compete in a variety of levels and gameplay modes. Sega describes the game as follows: "Players control a character from the Sonic series as they navigate a toy world crafted by the notorious Dr. Eggman, tackling treacherous obstacle courses and dangerous arenas!"

Given that *Sonic Rumble* is free-to-play, concerns about potential pay-to-win mechanics have surfaced.
