Prepare for a nostalgic journey! Nintendo is adding four iconic SNES titles from the early '90s to the Nintendo Switch Online library. These additions promise a mix of beat-em-up action, high-octane racing, mind-bending puzzles, and competitive dodgeball, enriching the already impressive collection of classic games available to subscribers.

First on the list is the legendary crossover, Battletoads/Double Dragon. This game unites the brawling Battletoads with the martial arts prowess of the Double Dragon brothers to combat the evil Dark Queen and the Shadow Warriors. Players can choose from five characters, including Billy and Jimmy Lee from Double Dragon and the amphibian heroes Zitz, Pimple, and Rash from Battletoads.

Originally launched for the NES in June 1993 and later ported to the Super NES in December of the same year, Battletoads/Double Dragon's inclusion in the Nintendo Switch Online library marks its first re-release in decades.

Next, Kunio-kun no Dodgeball da yo Zen’in Shūgō!, known as Super Dodgeball in North America and Europe, brings the thrill of dodgeball to the forefront. Featuring Kunio-kun from the River City series, players will compete against international teams across various courts, from indoor stadiums to outdoor beaches, each with unique challenges.

This game was first released for the Super Famicom in August 1993.

For puzzle enthusiasts, Cosmo Gang the Puzzle offers a strategic challenge akin to Tetris and Puyo Puyo. Players aim to clear lines of containers and Cosmos to score points. The game features three modes:

• 1P Mode: Compete against yourself to achieve the highest score.
• VS Mode: Engage in head-to-head battles with friends.
• 100 Stage Mode: Tackle increasingly difficult puzzles to test your skills.

To clear lines, align containers horizontally, and keep an eye out for blue orbs that help remove Cosmos.

Originally an arcade game from 1992, Cosmo Gang the Puzzle was later released for the Super Famicom in 1993. It has since been re-released on various platforms, including the Wii, Wii U Virtual Console, and most recently, the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 through the Arcade Archives series.

Finally, Big Run offers an adrenaline-pumping racing experience across the challenging African terrain. From the urban landscapes of Tripoli to the swampy regions of West Africa, players will navigate nine grueling stages, racing against time and rivals. Success hinges not just on speed but on strategic choices, including selecting the right sponsor, assembling a skilled team, and managing resources effectively. Every blown tire and engine failure is a critical moment in the race against time.
