Author:Kristen Update:Jun 03,2025

The Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) is set to expand once again with the launch of Scarlet & Violet—Journey Together, scheduled for March 28, 2025, worldwide. This new collection marks the highly anticipated return of Trainer’s Pokémon, a unique card type introduced in the Gym Heroes expansion. These cards pair iconic Pokémon with their well-known Trainers, introducing fresh strategies and abilities that add depth to battles.

Introducing Trainer’s Pokémon Cards

Among the standout features of Scarlet & Violet—Journey Together are the Trainer’s Pokémon cards. These cards highlight beloved Pokémon alongside their associated Trainers, providing powerful synergies during gameplay. Some of the most anticipated Trainer’s Pokémon include N’s Zoroark ex, Lillie’s Clefairy ex, Iono’s Bellibolt ex, and Hop’s Zacian ex. Each card brings its own dynamic to the battlefield, ensuring a thrilling experience for fans.

Expanding Accessibility

This expansion reflects Pokémon’s commitment to inclusivity by introducing the game in Latin American Spanish. This move opens doors for a broader audience, allowing players to enjoy everything from casual matches to competitive tournaments in their native language. Additionally, it fosters stronger connections within Latin American Pokémon communities, encouraging local events and engagement.

New Additions and Digital Play

In addition to Trainer’s Pokémon, the set introduces 16 new Pokémon ex, stunning ultra-rare artwork, and hyper-rare gold-etched cards. These collectibles will likely appear in both physical formats and digital platforms like Pokémon TCG Live. Although Pokémon TCG Pocket hasn’t been officially confirmed for this expansion, the game consistently evolves with new content, so players should keep an eye out for updates.

Pokémon TCG Live users can begin collecting and battling with Scarlet & Violet—Journey Together cards starting March 27, 2025. As always, staying updated on future releases ensures access to the latest strategies and collectibles.
