Excitement is brewing among fans of the Girls’ Frontline series as Project NET, a thrilling new third-person shooter spinoff, has opened its pre-registration. Announced via the official South East Asian (SEA) Twitter (X) account on March 3, 2025, players can now sign up for this much-anticipated game. To join the pre-registration, simply head over to Project NET’s official SEA website, click on the Pre-Register button, and enter your email address along with your preferred device, be it iOS or Android. Additionally, the official Russian (RU) website has also opened pre-registration for the game.
In addition to pre-registration, Project NET has launched the Shock Point Test Recruitment, as announced on March 4, 2025, via their official SEA Twitter (X) account. This beta test is currently exclusive to players in the Philippines and will be conducted on Android devices. It's worth noting that the Shock Point Test is a limited-access, non-monetized trial, and all data collected will be deleted post-test. The Russian region will also see the launch of the Shock Point Test, with further details available on their RU website. As Project NET gears up for a global rollout, the developers are diligently working on optimizing the game for other regions.
The recruitment for the SEA Shock Point Test is scheduled with specific dates. After completing the recruitment questionnaire, qualified participants can expect to receive their confirmation emails between March 24, 2025, and March 26, 2025. Additional test qualifications will be distributed throughout the testing period, which is yet to be announced.
Sunborn Network, the creative force behind the beloved mobile game Girls’ Frontline, first unveiled Project NET on December 27, 2024. Following this announcement, the game underwent its initial localized test in SEA countries from January 9, 2025, to January 16, 2025, covering Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
The Girls’ Frontline franchise, initially launched in 2016 as a strategy RPG gacha game for mobile, has since expanded into an anime series and other games, capturing a wide audience. The sequel, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium, hit the market on December 5, 2024. As a spinoff based on this acclaimed series, Project NET promises to bring familiar characters and distinctive aesthetics to fans. While there's no official release date yet for Project NET, it is currently set to be available on iOS and Android, mirroring the devices used during its initial test.
