The Pokémon Company has recently taken steps to address the widespread issues fans have encountered when trying to purchase the latest Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) sets. In an official statement, the company announced plans for reprints and emphasized their commitment to improving product availability for fans.

The launch of the latest set, Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet - Destined Rivals, was marred by shortages, pre-order complications, and the influence of scalpers. Other sought-after sets like Prismatic Evolutions and the Blooming Waters box have similarly been hard to come by due to high demand.

In their statement on the Pokémon website, The Pokémon Company acknowledged the challenges fans face in acquiring certain TCG products due to overwhelming demand. "We understand this inconvenience can be disappointing for fans, and we are actively working to print more of the impacted Pokémon TCG products as quickly as possible and at maximum capacity to address this," the statement explained. They assured fans that reprints would soon be available at participating retailers.

The company also committed to ramping up production for future TCG expansions to ensure better availability at launch and promised to continue reprinting affected products to restock the Pokémon Center.

In response to scalping concerns, The Pokémon Company indirectly addressed the issue by highlighting their efforts to enhance the purchasing experience at the Pokémon Center. They employ technology, including a virtual queue system during high-traffic periods, to prioritize fans.
