I find the Wonder Pick mechanic to be straightforward yet effective. Its simplicity, compared to the more complex and less warmly received trading mechanic, speaks volumes about its appeal. While it may not be the most reliable way to acquire new cards, the addition of event shop tickets as rewards seems to be TCG Pocket's way of making it more enticing.
