"A Perfect Day: Relive 1999 in Time-Loop Puzzle"

Littoral Games, known for their heartwarming titles like Growing Up and Chinese Parents, has released a new Android game titled A Perfect Day Pocket – Go Back to 1999. If you enjoyed the cozy vibes of their previous games, you'll find the same comforting atmosphere in this latest offering. The game's art style, featuring water-colored hand-painted visuals reminiscent of Growing Up, is not only beautiful but also powerful enough to tell the story on its own.

During its launch week, from February 27th to March 5th, A Perfect Day – Go Back to 1999 is available at a special introductory price of $1.99. After the launch week, the price will increase to $2.99 on Android. If you pre-registered for the game, you can claim a Panda Quake Mini 4WD by visiting Brother Cao at the Youth Palace. Additionally, a limited-time Easter egg, the Old Uniform, can be found in 'My Bedroom' until March 26th.

What's the Premise of A Perfect Day – Go Back to 1999?

As the title suggests, A Perfect Day – Go Back to 1999 transports players back to the year 1999, a period that Littoral Games specializes in capturing with their nostalgic storytelling. In this game, you step into the shoes of an elementary schoolboy caught in a time-loop narrative puzzle, reliving the last day of 1999—December 31st. The game features seven time segments, eleven main characters, twenty event cards, and one free DLC, offering a rich and immersive experience.

Throughout the loop, you'll uncover secrets about your classmates, friends, and family while striving to help everyone have their 'perfect day.' The game delves into themes of memories, regrets, and choices, allowing you to revisit childhood friendships, explore the lives of young parents, and make decisions that shape the narrative. With its interconnected structure, each playthrough can lead to different outcomes as you repeat the same day.

Repeat, Revisit, and Rewrite

A Perfect Day also includes several mini-games that encapsulate the essence of 90s gaming, such as a Mini 4WD race, a Gamicom console, and an arcade. These elements, combined with interactive storytelling and nostalgic visuals, make the game a compelling experience that's definitely worth exploring.

You can find A Perfect Day Pocket – Go Back to 1999 on the Google Play Store. To get a glimpse of what the game looks like, check out the trailer below.
