Overwatch 2 Teams Up with LE SSERAFIM Again: New Skins, Emotes, Challenges

Overwatch 2 is set to dazzle fans once again with its exciting collaboration with the K-pop sensation, LE SSERAFIM. This eagerly anticipated event is scheduled to kick off on March 18, 2025, and promises to bring a fresh wave of content to the game. As LE SSERAFIM gears up for the release of their new album "Hot," Overwatch 2 is joining in the celebration with new skins, emotes, and in-game challenges that will surely captivate players worldwide.

Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Coming This March 18, 2025

Following the success of their previous collaboration in November 2023, which celebrated LE SSERAFIM's song "Perfect Night," Overwatch 2 is ready to elevate the excitement with this new event. The announcement came via a trailer released on Twitter (X) on March 11, 2025, and was first teased during the Overwatch 2 Spotlight on February 12, 2025.

This collaboration introduces stunning new skins for popular heroes like Mercy, Juno, D.Va, Ashe, and Illari. Additionally, players can once again purchase the recolored skins from the 2023 event, featuring LE SSERAFIM versions of Kiriko, D.Va, Sombra, Tracer, and Brigitte. While the unique Concert Clash mode from the previous collaboration won't be making a return, players can still look forward to earning the Legendary Fawksey James Junkrat skin by completing in-game challenges during the event.

Aimee Denett, Overwatch's Associate Director of Product Management, shared insights with Polygon on March 11, 2025, about the upcoming event. She emphasized the desire to be part of the celebration for LE SSERAFIM's new album, stating, "This time around, we wanted to be part of one of the pieces that’s celebrating their new album." Denett also highlighted the inclusion of a visualizer for one of LE SSERAFIM's new songs, along with extensive cosmetics to enrich the collaboration experience.

The second collaboration between Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM will run from March 18 to March 31, 2025. Leading up to the event, fans can tune into an exclusive Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM Livestream Event on March 17, 2025, at 8:30 PM PST on both Twitch and YouTube. This livestream will feature members of LE SSERAFIM and offer a closer look at the new skins, ensuring that fans are fully prepared for the event.
