Neil Druckmann Reveals 'Dramatic Reason' for Spores' Return in The Last of Us Season 2
The showrunners of The Last of Us Season 2, Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin, have exciting news for fans: "spores are back" after their notable absence in Season 1. The latest trailer for the highly anticipated HBO series, set to return on April 13 on Max, teases the reintroduction of these iconic elements from the game. In the trailer, we catch a glimpse of Ellie, portrayed by Bella Ramsey, encountering an infected whose breath visibly releases spores into the air.
