Mortal Kombat 1 Welcomes Madam Bo

New Kameo Fighter

Mortal Kombat 1 has launched the official trailer for its latest Kameo fighter, Madam Bo, the feisty owner of Fengjian Teahouse. She, along with the villainous guest character T-1000 from Terminator 2, will join the fray on March 18th, 2025, as part of Kombat Pack 2 and the Khaos Reigns expansion.

Before her role as an assist character, Madam Bo appeared in Mortal Kombat 1's story mode. She was defeated by Lin Kuei assassin Smoke as a staged event to prepare Raiden and Kung Lao for the tournament. Despite her unassuming appearance, Madam Bo is a formidable fighter with a history as a former associate of the Lin Kuei and a skilled martial artist who trained Raiden and Kung Lao.

In the gameplay footage, Madam Bo supports her pupils with powerful kicks and punches, smashing glass bottles, and executing a unique finishing fatality where she kicks her opponent's head off and catches it on a tea tray.

T-1000 Makes Its Guest Debut

Alongside Madam Bo, the cold and cunning T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgment Day will make its debut as a playable character. This liquid metal assassin will use its shapeshifting abilities to wield a sharp sword or a machine gun against opponents.

Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns Expansion

The introduction of Madam Bo and T-1000 is part of the new Mortal Kombat 1 expansion and DLC, Khaos Reigns. This expansion extends Liu Kang's New Era storyline with a new campaign, offering players a fresh cinematic experience. It explores how Liu Kang rallies his champions against the ruthless Titan Havik, who poses a threat to the world and the New Era.

The Kombat Pack 2, part of this expansion, introduces several new and returning characters. The rollout began with the return of Sektor, Noob Saibot, and Cyrax in September 2024, followed by Ghostface from the Scream series in November, and Conan the Barbarian in January 2025. Madam Bo and T-1000 will complete the current roster later this month.
