Monster Hunter Wilds Summer Event Unveils New Content

Author:Kristen Update:May 28,2026

Great news, hunters! The next major update for Monster Hunter Wilds arrives very soon. Starting tomorrow, July 23, the seasonal Festival of Accord: Flamefete begins, introducing new quests, cosmetic gear, and unique equipment obtainable through event-exclusive login bonuses and quests. This festival will be available for two full weeks.

The Grand Hub has received a majestic summer-themed makeover, and your feathered Seikret can join the festivities with the new Firebird Caparison decoration. You’ll also have the chance to forge special equipment using tickets earned during the event, alongside complimentary meal vouchers for the canteen.

These event tickets can also be used to craft the Afi α armor set and the Felyne Afi α Palico gear. Wearing this equipment unlocks bonus event rewards, such as additional tickets and Beach Barrel Bombs. Additionally, look forward to a new nameplate, background, and pose for your hunter profile, plus new tent customization and camp gear options.

Capcom also revealed that during the event, you can see Alma in a Summer Poncho, Gemma in Summer Coveralls, and Erik sporting a Summer Hat. And yes, there's even a water gun to enjoy!

The Flamefete DLC pack offers a collection of summer-themed outfits, a special pendant, a new gesture, a sticker set, and a Seikret decoration, all available in the store once the event begins.

Earlier this month, Capcom acknowledged player requests to make the time-limited Arch-tempered monsters a permanent feature. In response, the challenging battles against Arch-tempered Rey Dau and Uth Duna will become permanently available in Monster Hunter Wilds starting July 23.

Capcom continues to actively address player feedback and resolve issues within Monster Hunter Wilds, even amid reports of harassment related to this latest series entry. This permanent addition of Arch-tempered monsters is a positive change that demonstrates the development team is listening to its community, all while delivering significant new content like the recent battle with Lagiacrus.
