A Little to the Left Releases Final Update: Packed Update

A Little to the Left has released a new update named the Packed Update. What makes it special is that it’s the final update, marking the end of active development for the game. While no more updates are planned, players—whether new or returning—can continue enjoying the game indefinitely.

The game first launched on PC and other platforms in 2022, with an Android release following in November 2024. Developed by Canadian indie studio Max Inferno and published by Secret Mode, it began as a game jam project by founders Annie Macmillan and Lukas Steinman.

What’s New in the Packed Update for A Little to the Left?

The update introduces three new puzzles, each built around a drawer: a bathroom drawer, a tool drawer, and a collection of paper plane materials.

It also improves the Daily Tidy mode with an additional puzzle centered on books, redesigned versions of existing puzzles like Microscope and Calendar, a checkpoint system, and bonus stars.

The game now clarifies the logic behind correct solutions, helping players understand what went wrong instead of leaving them confused. Over 25 puzzles have received new or revised hints, including items from the Cupboards & Drawers and Seeing Stars DLCs such as the Jewelry Box and Markers.

A new Shuffle Mode has been added, unlocked after completing the main campaign. It randomly remixes all available levels—from the base game, the Archive, and both DLCs—offering more than 160 levels in total.

Players who’ve completed over 365 puzzles can now use a badge selector to display any combination of achievements they prefer. A new tutorial has also been added to explain how stars function in levels with multiple solutions.

The new Colour Assist Mode ensures players with colour vision differences can fully enjoy all puzzles. The team has replaced some levels with colour-blind-friendly alternatives. If you haven’t tried the game yet, grab it from the Google Play Store.
