Exciting news for fans of the heartwarming soccer series, as Jason Sudeikis, star and producer of *Ted Lasso*, has officially announced that the show will return for Season 4. The announcement came during a chat on the New Heights sports podcast hosted by NFL brothers Jason and Travis Kelce. In a snippet from the podcast's latest episode, Sudeikis shared that the team is currently writing the new season, confirming, "That’s what we’re writing. We’re writing Season 4 now. That’s the official word, yeah. Ted’s coaching a women’s team."

This marks the first solid update on the future of *Ted Lasso* in nearly two years, bringing relief to fans eager for more of the feel-good series. While details on whether this will be the final season or its setting remain undisclosed, the anticipation is palpable. Even Travis Kelce's probing about a potential return to the U.S. was met with Sudeikis's humorous yet cryptic response, "Yeah, that’s too many questions, and that’s only because I don’t know."

According to Deadline, negotiations are underway with Juno Temple to reprise her role as Keeley, while Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift are confirmed to return as Rebecca, Roy, and Leslie, respectively. Sources suggest that filming for the first episode of Season 4 will kick off in Kansas City before shifting back to the UK, with production slated to begin in July.

Apple TV+ is already ramping up efforts to bring *Ted Lasso* back into the spotlight. Although no specific release date or plot details have been revealed, the show's official X/Twitter account playfully acknowledged its long hiatus with a post saying, "Finally found the dang password to this thing. Sorry y’all. What’d I miss?"

The last significant update on *Ted Lasso* was in the summer of 2024, when Deadline reported that Season 4 was on the verge of being greenlit.
