Healing Guide for Dynasty Warriors Origins

Author:Kristen Update:Apr 16,2025

In the action-packed world of *Dynasty Warriors: Origins*, players of all skill levels are bound to encounter some damage during their epic battles. Whether you're a seasoned warrior or new to the franchise, understanding how to heal effectively can make all the difference in your gameplay experience. Fortunately, healing in *Dynasty Warriors: Origins* is simple and straightforward, requiring the use of a special consumable item. The game also offers an auto-healing feature, which can be a lifesaver for those who prefer to focus on combat rather than constantly monitoring their health.

How to Heal in Dynasty Warriors: Origins

Just like in previous titles of the series, Dynasty Warriors: Origins players can restore their health by consuming meat buns. These handy items can be found by smashing pots scattered around enemy bases. Additionally, there's a chance that defeated Enemy Officers might drop meat buns, but this is limited to the Historian and Wayfarer difficulty settings. If you're tackling the tougher Hero and Ultimate Warrior difficulties, you won't find meat buns dropped by officers.

To use a meat bun during battle, simply press Up on the D-Pad if you have one in your inventory. If your inventory is full and you pick up another meat bun, it will automatically be consumed unless you're already at full health, in which case it will stay on the ground. Initially, you can carry up to three meat buns, but if that's not enough, you can enhance your capacity with the Meat Bun Glutton skill.

For those who prefer not to manage their healing manually, Dynasty Warriors: Origins provides an "Auto-Use Meat Buns" feature in the Configuration menu. This option automatically uses meat buns when your health drops below a certain threshold, allowing you to concentrate on the fight. Even with this feature enabled, you can still manually consume meat buns, so it's a great idea to turn it on for added convenience.
