As shared in their recent Twitter (X) post, Hades 2 has now been in early access for a year, since May 6, 2024. Supergiant Games marked this milestone by expressing gratitude to their fans and hinting at an approaching full release.

Their post states, "It's been incredibly exciting and eye-opening as we've worked to realize the potential so many of you see in our game. Thank you for all your feedback and patience as we get closer to the finish line!"

The original Hades followed a similar path, taking 22 months from early access to full release. However, Supergiant aims for a quicker rollout for Hades 2, starting with a time-exclusive launch on the Nintendo Switch 2.
