Genshin Impact's eagerly awaited Version 5.5 update, titled "Day of the Flame’s Return," is set to ignite on March 26th, promising a thrilling expansion to the Natlan region. This update isn't just about advancing the storyline; it's a game-changer with exciting new features and content.

One of the most anticipated additions is controller support for Android devices, a feature fans have long requested. If you're eager to find out which controllers will be compatible, you can dive into the details here.

What Does Genshin Impact Version 5.5 Have in Store?

Prepare to venture deep into the southwestern part of Natlan, where adventure awaits amidst a new tribe, a colossal volcano, and fresh faces. The Great Volcano of Tollan harbors ancient secrets and a long-dormant sacred city, with magma simmering beneath its surface. Your mission? Unravel the mysteries of the "Flamelord’s Blessing" and the enigmatic Little One, all while encountering the Collective of Plenty. This tribe is all about fitness, turning strength challenges into a way of life.

Joining the fray are two new playable characters: Varesa and Iansan. Varesa, a 5-star Electro Catalyst user, brings a unique twist to the game by restoring Phlogiston after consuming food, making her an invaluable support outside of battle. Iansan, a 4-star Electro Polearm wielder and one of Natlan’s six heroes, blends offense with support. When a teammate triggers a Nightsoul Burst, she gains the Warming Up effect, enabling continuous healing.

In the first phase of Version 5.5’s Event Wishes, you'll have the chance to pull for Varesa and Iansan, alongside Xianyun's rerun, followed by reruns for Xilonen and Venti. Check out these exciting additions below.

The Bloomflower Trials Are Making a Comeback

In this update, you'll team up with Mavuika, Ifa, and other Natlan allies to aid a sick Saurian. A fun mini-game, "Saurian Treasure Seeker," challenges you to guide baby Saurians through obstacles to collect treasures, with the reward of inviting Ororon for free upon participation.

For those seeking a challenge, a new boss, the Lava Dragon Statue, awaits in the volcanic fissures. Get ready to experience all this and more by downloading the game from the Google Play Store once the update is live.
