"Back to the Future's Time Machine Now Available in CSR2"

Zynga is bringing a nostalgic thrill to fans of Custom Street Racer 2, also known as CSR2, with an exciting crossover event celebrating the 40th anniversary of the iconic film, Back to the Future. Directed by Robert Zemeckis in 1985, this beloved movie is now merging with the high-speed world of CSR2.

CSR2 Is Taking You Back to the Future

Starting today, players can now collect and race the legendary DeLorean Time Machine from the first film within CSR2. While it doesn't offer any performance boosts or special abilities, it's a fully drivable car that adds a unique touch to your garage. Beyond the car, CSR2 is rolling out a comprehensive Back to the Future-themed experience.

The crossover includes a custom in-game user interface inspired by the film, a brand-new narrative, and a series of multiple events. Players can look forward to participating in three flash events dedicated to the Time Machine, as well as a community competition. Zynga has announced that additional themed events will continue to be released throughout the year, ensuring this is more than just a fleeting update. Sadly, No Free Trips to 1955!

While CSR2 won't let you travel back to 1955 as in the movie or even experience time-travel like in Reverse:1999, this collaboration with Back to the Future is truly unique. The legendary gull-winged DeLorean from the first film is now available for players to drive, which in itself is an exciting addition.

Sam Cooper, Zynga's Vice President of Games, emphasized the significance of this crossover by calling the Time Machine one of the most recognizable and beloved picture cars in history. He expressed enthusiasm about allowing players to virtually race this iconic vehicle while celebrating the movie's milestone anniversary.
