This guide has been updated to include how to obtain the Oni Masks from Daigo, as well as a reliable location where players can find both masks for free, every time.

All Oni Masks & How To Use Them

Void Oni Mask

The Void Oni Mask is a highly sought-after item in Fortnite, renowned for its mobility benefits. Players can throw a Void Tear using the Shoot Button and then teleport to its location by holding the Aim Button while the mask is equipped. The Epic Variant offers 15 uses with a 5-second cooldown, while the Mythic version provides an impressive 50 uses, making it a game-changer in strategic positioning.

Fire Oni Mask

The Fire Oni Mask, in contrast, is designed for offensive play. By pressing the Fire Button, players can launch a guided flame projectile that inflicts 100 damage on impact. This projectile can affect multiple opponents if they are close together. The Epic version has 8 uses with an 8-second cooldown, whereas the Mythic variant increases this to 16 uses, amplifying its destructive potential.

How To Get Oni Masks in Fortnite

Searching Elemental Chests

The most direct method to acquire Oni Masks is by looting Elemental Chests. These chests guarantee an elemental item, including both Boons and Oni Masks. While both the Void and Fire Oni Masks can be found this way, it does require some luck. Players should focus on named Points of Interest (POIs) for the best chances of encountering Elemental Chests.

Defeating Demon Warriors

Another way to obtain Oni Masks is by defeating Demon Warriors, which are located at specific spots marked by an Oni Mask icon on the map. Although they don’t always drop a mask, Demon Warriors can yield either a Void or Fire Oni Mask, depending on what they are equipped with. They also have a chance to drop Typhoon Blades and a Fire or Void Boon.

Searching Chests

In addition to battling bosses and looting Elemental Chests, players can also find Oni Masks in regular Chests. While this method offers a chance to obtain both the Fire and Void Oni Masks at Epic Rarity, it is the most luck-dependent approach.

Purchase From Daigon

For those seeking a guaranteed way to acquire both Oni Masks, purchasing them from Daigo at Masked Meadows is an option. Both the Void and Fire Oni Masks are available for Gold Bars, but players must first complete all stages of Daigo's Mask Expertise Quests to unlock this opportunity.

Loot From Daigon's Hidden Workshop

For a hassle-free acquisition of both masks, players can visit Daigon's hidden workshop, located beneath the building on the north side of Masked Meadows. Inside, a machine displays both masks, which can be looted like a regular chest, ensuring players leave with both the Void and Fire Oni Masks.

Defeating Bosses (Mythic Oni Masks Only)

To obtain the Mythic Oni Masks, players must challenge specific bosses. The Mythic Void Oni Mask is dropped by Night Rose at Demon's Dojo, while the Mythic Fire Oni Mask is obtained by defeating Shogun X at Shogun's Arena. These Mythic masks function similarly to their Epic counterparts but come with increased uses, enhancing their effectiveness in battle.
