Fortnite Adds Darth Jar Jar, Star Wars Battle Pass in Galactic Season

Fortnite is gearing up for an epic Star Wars celebration with its next season, dubbed Galactic Battle, set to launch on May 2. This season promises a thrilling blend of Star Wars-themed content, including a unique Battle Pass and a captivating five-part saga filled with surprises. One of the most intriguing additions is the arrival of Darth Jar Jar to the Battle Royale, adding a twist to the iconic character from the Star Wars universe.

The exciting announcement came during the Star Wars Celebration, where we also caught a glimpse of other Star Wars-themed features coming to Fortnite next month. Among them, Force Lightning will be introduced as a new in-game ability, adding a powerful dimension to the gameplay.

Further details revealed that the Battle Pass will feature Emperor Palpatine and creative mashups like Wookiee Cuddle Team Leader. The Item Shop will see new additions such as Mace Windu. Players will have the chance to pilot and co-pilot X-Wings and TIE Fighters, explore themed map locations, and enjoy a host of other immersive experiences.

The Star Wars saga within Fortnite will unfold over five weeks, each with a distinct overarching theme:

  • Imperial Takeover – May 2, 2025
  • The Pull of the Force – May 8, 2025
  • Mandalorian Rising – May 22, 2025
  • Star Destroyer Bombardment – May 29, 2025
  • Death Star Sabotage – June 7, 2025

This saga will culminate in a spectacular in-game narrative live event, promising players a chance to feel as though they hold the fate of the galaxy in their hands.
