In *R.E.P.O.*, a cooperative horror game, your main objective is to retrieve valuable items and make it out alive. This task is far from easy, as you'll face various monsters that spawn randomly throughout the game. Successfully escaping with your loot not only feels rewarding but also allows you to earn cash, which you can use to stock up on survival gear at the Service Station. The menacing AI Taxman oversees your earnings, making every successful extraction a thrilling achievement.

How to Extract in R.E.P.O.

In your first round of *R.E.P.O.*, you'll encounter just one Extraction Point. However, as you advance to new locations, the number of Extraction Points can increase up to a maximum of four. You can monitor the required number of drop-offs by checking the red number in the right-hand corner of your screen, which also indicates how many you've already completed.

At the start of each level, the Extraction Point is conveniently located near your R.E.P.O. truck. This initial position remains constant, ensuring you know exactly where to return your first haul of valuables. Subsequent Extraction Points, however, can be more challenging to locate.

After dropping off your first C.A.R.T.-full, you'll need to explore the rest of the level as usual. The Taxman's demands and the next drop-off location remain unknown until you reach the area. Your in-game map, accessible by pressing "Tab" on your keyboard, becomes invaluable here. It shows unexplored areas, helping you plan your routes and, if playing with others, allowing your team to spread out and cover more ground efficiently.

The next Extraction Point's location becomes clear once you're in the vicinity, either by sight or sound. Upon finding it, press the big red button to discover your fate and whether you've collected enough items. If you meet the requirement, place your C.A.R.T within the grey area to ensure all items are safely deposited; otherwise, they risk being destroyed.

After completing the necessary Extraction Points, you'll either move on to the next one or attempt to return to the truck unscathed. Note that after the last point is cleared and valuables counted, you don't need to bring the C.A.R.T back to the truck; a new one will spawn at the next location or level.
