Epic Games Store Launches on Mobile: 20 New Games, Free Game Program

Epic Games has officially launched its store on mobile devices, bringing the Epic Games Store to Android users worldwide. To celebrate this significant milestone, Epic is offering a range of enticing rewards, free games, and more.

Which Games Are Available on the Mobile Epic Games Store?

The spotlight is on three major titles: Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Rocket League Sideswipe. Notably, Fall Guys is now available for free on mobile through the Epic Games Store. By downloading the Epic Games Store app and any of these games on your mobile device, you can participate in exclusive in-game challenges to unlock unique cosmetics. These include a special Fortnite outfit with matching back bling, pickaxe, and wrap, as well as a new Fall Guys bean costume. Additionally, you can earn a Fall Guys-themed pickaxe for Fortnite and a gold vehicle trim usable in both Fortnite and Rocket League Sideswipe. Keep in mind, these quests are exclusive to mobile players.

It’s Not Just About Their Big Three Games

The Epic Games Store on mobile isn't limited to just these three titles. It features nearly 20 third-party games from various developers. Moreover, Epic has introduced a Free Games program for mobile users. Currently, you can grab Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee for free on Android and iOS through the Epic Games Store app until February 20th. Playdigious has also made two other titles, Shapez and Evoland 2, available on the store. They plan to add Cultist Simulator in the coming weeks. Additionally, Bloons TD 6 is set to join the store soon. While the free game offerings are currently monthly, Epic plans to transition to a weekly schedule later this year.

Despite challenges posed by Apple and Google in downloading third-party app stores, Epic's push into the mobile market is a bold move that enhances gaming accessibility for everyone. What are your thoughts on this development? Share your opinions in the comments below.
