Electronic Arts, commonly known as EA, is currently hosting an exciting playtest for their new game, City Life Game with Friends, as part of EA's The Sims Project Rene. This limited-time playtest is designed to collect valuable feedback on the game's performance and player interactions, helping EA refine and enhance the gaming experience.
The playtest is exclusively available for Android devices. To participate, your phone must be running at least Android 12 and should have a minimum of 4GB of RAM. However, participation is not open to everyone, so make sure you're eligible before you dive in.
The playtest period is set to end on April 4th, 2025, with varying end times based on your region: 7 PM UTC, 6 AM AEST in Australia, and 3 AM PHT in the Philippines. Once the playtest concludes, the game will no longer be accessible, and you'll need to uninstall it from your device.
It's important to note that this playtest isn't a full representation of the final product but rather a sneak peek into the direction EA might be taking with The Sims Project Rene. It's clear that EA is exploring a variety of innovative ideas with this project.
Once you gain access to the playtest, you can immerse yourself in the vibrant world of City Life Game with Friends. Start by creating a character that reflects your personal style and vibe. The neighborhood is alive with activities, from browsing for new outfits at the Thrift Shop to relaxing at the Café or contributing to community events.
Collaborate with others to organize block parties, make wishes at the plaza fountain, and search for hidden collectibles scattered throughout the game. City Life Game with Friends emphasizes social interaction and community building, encouraging players to engage with each other over shared interests in art, music, and meaningful conversations.
If you're intrigued by this opportunity, head over to the Google Play Store to check it out, provided you're located in one of the designated playtest regions. And if this isn't quite your cup of tea, stay tuned for our next update on Bandai Namco's decision to discontinue PAC-MAN Mobile as it celebrates its 45th anniversary.
