Dungeons of Dreadrock 2 Unleashes Darkness on Switch This November

Approximately two and a half years ago, we were captivated by Dungeons of Dreadrock, a delightful gaming experience crafted by Christoph Minnameier. This dungeon crawler, reminiscent of classics like Dungeon Master and Eye of the Beholder, offered a unique top-down perspective instead of the traditional first-person view. Its 100 distinct levels, each representing a floor in a sprawling dungeon, presented a compelling puzzle-solving challenge as players rescued their kidnapped brother. The game's difficulty, with levels often resembling intricate logic puzzles, demanded strategic thinking and precise timing to overcome traps and enemies. Our review lauded Dungeons of Dreadrock, and its subsequent releases across numerous platforms were equally well-received. Now, we eagerly anticipate its sequel. Introducing Dungeons of Dreadrock 2 – The Dead King’s Secret.

The striking red background and prominent Nintendo Switch logo, accompanied by the familiar snap sound effect, confirms that this latest installment will grace the Nintendo Switch eShop first, launching on November 28th of this year. However, PC gamers need not despair! A PC version is in development and is currently available to wishlist on Steam. Mobile players will also be pleased to learn that iOS and Android versions are planned. While precise mobile release dates remain unclear, the prospect alone is exciting.
