Discover Rosa's Book Location in KCD2

In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, some side quests are easily missed, and failing to complete them can impact your game progress. One such quest is "Rosa's Book," which is crucial for those interested in romancing Rosa. To unlock this side quest, you must first complete "Via Argentum" and start "Taking French Leave." After assisting the Ruthard family with Vavak, you'll be directed to speak with Rosa. She'll reveal a secret passage into Maleshov that you can use to rescue Hans and subsequently request you to retrieve a book for her. Make sure to ask her about the book and promise to return it to initiate the "Rosa's Book" quest.

Remember, you can only complete this quest during "Taking French Leave." If you exit Maleshov with Hans without finding the book, the quest fails, and you'll lose the chance to romance Rosa. Fortunately, the book is conveniently located on your path to Hans' room.

Upon entering Maleshov, head towards the largest tower where Hans is held at the top. Use the stairs on the side of the building to reach the entrance. Sneak inside, and you'll find another set of stairs near a small kitchen. Hide in the kitchen until the guards leave the tower.

Next, quietly ascend the stairs to a room where Lady Ofka is seated facing the fireplace. Sneak up behind her and knock her out. Collect the keys from her body and the podium, and grab the sword from the chest in her room. In this same room, you'll find Rosa's book. Look to the right of the fireplace, and you'll see a red book in the window alcove. Pick it up, and your objective will update to return the book to Rosa.

While you're in the area, enter the adjacent room and take another sword from the chest there. This will save you time when you meet Hans, as you'll need two weapons for him and his surprise guest. After securing the items, proceed to the top level and unlock the left door to trigger a cutscene.

Following the cutscene, continue with "Taking French Leave." Although Hans refuses to use the passageway, you can advance towards romancing him by choosing the heart dialogue option, provided you chose similarly in Trosky. Then, sneak to the stables on the north side of Maleshov, knocking out and hiding guards as needed. Clear a path, signal Hans, and ensure he reaches the stables safely.

After opening the gate and completing the final cutscene of the quest, return to Kuttenberg City. Stop by Ruthard Palace to deliver Rosa's book, successfully completing the "Rosa's Book" side quest in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*.
