How to Solve All Password and Padlock Combinations in Lost Records: Bloom and Rage

In Lost Records: Bloom and Rage, there are currently three lock-related puzzles within Tape 1. As new content arrives with Tape 2 in April 2025, this guide will be updated to include any additional puzzles and their solutions.

If you miss solving a puzzle, like the Corey and Dylan love lock early in Tape 1, don't worry. You can revisit scenes via the Scene Selection Menu and use Collectible Mode to gather missed items without impacting your story progression.

The written anniversary date is your solution – Screenshot by The Escapist

The first padlock puzzle is found in Scene 10 of Tape 1, titled 'Lights, Camera, Action!'. After completing the Forest Girls Memoir in the first area, navigate through the park by squeezing between two large boulders. You'll then pass a wire fence lined with "love locks" from young couples, including one belonging to Corey and Dylan.

To unlock it as a playful act of revenge, you'll need a four-digit combination. However, the hint to this code isn't available until Scene 24, near the end of Tape 1. Search Corey’s Bag on his bike in the parking lot to find a Polaroid photo with a caption revealing Corey and Dylan’s anniversary date: August 27, 1994. This date is your clue to the padlock code.

Return to Scene 10 via the Scene Selection Menu and enter 0827 into the lock to undo it, earning you the hidden 'Heartbreak' achievement/trophy.

In Scene 13 of Tape 1, titled 'Cabin in the Woods', Swann discovers a mysterious cabin in the woods at night. To continue the story, you must unlock the front door's padlock. Start by examining the Old Sheet on the wooden beam behind you, which provides visual clues for the lock's four dials. The first dial is already solved, so focus on the remaining three symbols.

For the second symbol, head to the kitchen and pull the rope handle to access the attic. Inside, turn around to see a crescent moon symbol on the far wall.

For the third symbol, still in the kitchen, examine the leftmost can on the stove covered in spider webs. Flip it to reveal a leaf symbol on its bottom.

For the fourth symbol, inspect the bear trap on the back wall. It will snap shut, revealing a star symbol etched on the wood behind it.

Return to the front door and input the symbols in order: crescent moon, leaf, and star. This will unlock the door, allowing the story to progress.

In Scene 24 of Tape 1, titled 'Riot Grrrls', the girls need to find a power source for their concert at Blue Spruce Bar. While searching, follow Autumn and Kat to the gate on the left side of the parking lot, where you'll find a padlock requiring a sequence of cardinal directions.

The solution is nearby. Go to Corey’s bike in front of the bar and examine the bag to find a Pager with a slip of paper under its clip. Flip the paper over to reveal a sequence of arrows, which is the combination for the lock.

Return to the gate and enter the sequence to unlock it, granting access to the employee area where you can find items like the Extension Cord, Power Outlet, and Breaker Panel to restore power.
