Following the buzz around their new project, Project C4, ZA/UM has announced an exciting development for fans of their critically acclaimed title, Disco Elysium: an official mobile version exclusive to Android devices. This move aims to expand the game's reach to new audiences while offering existing fans a convenient, on-the-go alternative. The first two chapters of Disco Elysium will be available for free, with a one-time payment unlocking the full, ad-free experience.

ZA/UM emphasized their commitment to transparency and quality, stating, “We want players to make an informed decision about their potential purchase.” The studio, now a blend of creators and custodians of the Disco Elysium IP, is dedicated to upholding the game's high standards on mobile platforms.

Studio head Denis Havel revealed an ambitious goal to engage the TikTok audience, saying, “We intend to captivate the TikTok user with quick hits of compelling story, art, and audio, ultimately creating an all new, deeply engaging form of entertainment.”

Alongside the announcement, ZA/UM released a debut trailer and captivating screenshots showcasing new 360-degree scenes tailored for mobile users, placing them directly in the heart of Revachol. The game also features new audio with full voiceover to enhance the immersive and character-rich experience.

This is a total re-imagination of the award-winning, gripping psychological RPG Disco Elysium and designed to completely cater to the habits of today’s mobile users. This story-rich adventure has been optimized for short play sessions, allowing players to dive in anytime, anyplace on their mobile devices.

Narrative Lead Chris Priestman described the mobile version as “what audiobooks wish they were,” highlighting its design for short bursts of play. Disco Elysium will be available on mobile via Google Android starting summer 2025.

It's important to note that while the studio name remains the same, many key contributors to the original Disco Elysium have since left ZA/UM. Numerous former ZA/UM members are now working on spiritual successors to the game, marking a significant shift in the studio's composition since the game's initial release.
