"Devil May Cry Anime Opener Features Limp Bizkit Hit"

Netflix has thrilled fans by announcing the premiere date for the anime adaptation of *Devil May Cry* and releasing the series' opening trailer. The trailer, set against the iconic "Rollin'" track by the nu-metal band Limp Bizkit, showcases dynamic scenes featuring young Dante, Lady, and White Rabbit, brimming with nods to the beloved game series.

Showrunner Adi Shankar has shared his ambitious vision for the anime's future. Set in the late 90s to early 2000s, the series captures the essence of the era through its soundtrack. Shankar emphasized that Limp Bizkit's music, along with other tracks from that time and a reimagined game soundtrack by the synthwave duo Power Glove, perfectly encapsulates the spirit of the period. He also hinted that future seasons will vary in visual style and soundtrack, reflecting the diversity of the games, thereby suggesting that the series will extend beyond a single season.

While plot details remain under wraps, the first season is poised to draw from the manga *Code 1: Dante (Devil May Cry 3)*. The storyline will follow young demon hunter Dante as he delves into the mysterious disappearance of a child, confronting his past, family, and the legacy of his demon father, Sparda.

The first season will feature 8 episodes and is slated to premiere on April 3, 2025. With such a promising start and the potential for more seasons, fans of *Devil May Cry* have much to look forward to.
