"The Darkside Detective and Sequel Now Available"

Akupara Games has been on a roll with their recent game releases. From the deck-building adventure of Zoeti to the puzzle-solving fun of The Darkside Detective, and now its sequel, The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark, they've truly been busy. Both detective games are available together, offering double the mystery and laughs!

What’s The Scene In The Darkside Detective?

The game opens on a misty, foggy night in Twin Lakes, a city where the weird and the wonderful are just part of the daily routine. You'll step into the shoes of Detective Francis McQueen and his endearing yet sometimes clueless partner, Officer Patrick Dooley. As members of the Darkside Division—a severely underfunded unit of the Twin Lakes Police Department—you'll tackle nine intriguing cases that plunge you into the hilarious and bizarre world of The Darkside Detective and its equally entertaining sequel, A Fumble in the Dark.

In these point-and-click adventures, expect to deal with everything from time-traveling puzzles and flesh-hungry tentacles to uncovering the secrets of a carnival and battling mafia zombies. For a taste of what's in store, check out the trailer for The Darkside Detective below:

Will You Try The Games Out?

The Darkside Detective series is a loving nod to pop culture, filled with nods to classic horror movies, sci-fi shows, and buddy cop films. The cases are cleverly titled—think Malice in Wonderland, Tome Alone, Disorient Express, Police Farce, Don of the Dead, Buy Hard, and Baits Motel. The humor packed into every pixelated scene is one of the standout features of the game.

If you're interested in diving into The Darkside Detective, you can pick it up on the Google Play Store for $6.99. And for those eager to jump straight into the sequel, A Fumble in the Dark is also available on Google Play, and you don't need to have played the original to enjoy it.
